What kind of work does a tiltrotator do best?

A tiltrotator will make an excavator more efficient in most applications. A tiltrotator provides an excavator with entirely new flexibility and enables the operator do his work without a constant need to move the machine. This means a smaller work area need be roped off and work proceeds more quickly. A tiltrotator means more types of operation can be performed by a single machine. Examples:

  1. Forklift frames for unloading goods from trucks or other vehicles
  2. Pipe-laying grapples
  3. Cable bucket for narrow trenching
  4. Grading bucket for surface leveling
  5. Grading beam to finish leveling jobs
  6. Sweeper

All of these reduce the need for extra machines or labor and thus increase profitability
