Using distinct movements and at high speed Ib Hansen uses his new JCB JS220 to excavate an area to create a 2 400 square meter stable for cows.
He describes the new EC226 tiltrotator as “compact and incredible stable”.
A steady line of dumpers arrive to collect load after load and the excavation masses will soon be replaced by a more stable material that can be used as a foundation.
Ib, who has been driving for Myllerup Entreprenør I/S for many years and who also is a partner in the business, has always been careful to chooses the right machine and tools for the job.
24 years ago, in 1989, the company invested in its first JCB. The new JCB JS220 that Ib is currently driving, is the 25th JCB machine the company has owned. This one has been fitted with the new EC226, the latest generation of tiltrotator from engcon, that gets the highest marks from Ib.
“It’s compact and feels incredibly stable. It gives a great feeling as it needs that little extra digging power”, says Sören during the short moments we get to talk between dumps.
“I also chose to have my EC226 fitted with an integrated grab. I haven’t regretted it for a second. It’s always in use in any imaginable job, even when I’m pulling trees down”.
Before leaving the work site we see how Ib manoeuvres the excavator tracks towards a large pile of concrete rubble. Very soon it’s all been removed thanks to the integrated grab.
