Engcon, as the first tiltrotator company in the UK to establish a dedicated test drive centre at CTA in Doncaster in 2015, has taken the concept a stage further by extending the service and investing in a tiltrotator-equipped mini digger, together with a fully trained demonstration driver which will travel to prospective customer’s sites to allow the owner-operator to try the concept in familiar surroundings before buying.

In the UK, Engcon is the only tiltrotator manufacturer with a complete customer resource centre, at a central location, offering sales, service, fitting, repair and training. Managing Director Robert Hunt says: “British excavator operators like a hands-on experience, a real test in real conditions of the equipment they are looking to invest in, and I’m keen to give them every opportunity to do that. This year we’ll be at three times as many events as 2017 and I’m investing a lot of resource into giving operators and plant hire companies the chance to see the huge effect a tiltrotator has on productivity and on the type of work an operator can handle with one digger.

Area Sales Manager, Mark Clare, a NPORS qualified Training Provider and Assessor on all classes of excavator as well as the newly-developed Tiltrotator skills and Health and Safety awareness course, will lead on potential test drives and demonstrations, giving customers a very informative, positive experience of life with a tiltrotator.
