Operators agree about the tiltrotator’s benefits

Two excavator operators share the same conclusion:

All new excavators should come equipped with engcon tiltrotators.

Founded in 1909, Streicher Gruppe in Deggendorf, Germany has grown into a large national and international contracting company with approximately 3,000 employees.

We met one of these employees, Manfred Schulhauser, at a road construction site in Deggendorf. He is operating an Atlas TB160 which was recently fitted with an engcon EC15 tiltrotator. Despite his short experience, he’s already delighted with the tiltrotator.

“It has turned my excavator into a real all-round machine,” he says. “The tiltrotator almost completely eliminates the need for manual spade work.

In my opinion, all new excavators should be delivered with tiltrotators attached.”

Slightly further north-west, in Niederwinkling, we meet excavator operator Walter Stern. He has a little more experience of the engcon tiltrotator; his Komatsu PW138 was fitted with an EC10 about a year ago.

“Now I couldn’t imagine working without a tiltrotator,” he says. “Every day I’m fascinated at how quickly and efficiently I can use my excavator.” Like his colleague, Walter hopes to see all excavators equipped with tiltrotators in the future.
