A tiltrotator – an investment we’ve never regretted!

When they first saw an engcon tiltrotator at the Bauma trade fair, it wasn’t love at first sight. But it marked the beginning of a long-term relationship.

“When we finally took the plunge, we invested in a EC05 with all the attachments. We haven’t regretted it for a minute,” says Anthony Spinozzi, business development manager of the contracting company Anric Development.

The company, based in New South Wales, performs major contracts as well as assignments paid by the hour. Spinozzi first saw an engcon tiltrotator at the Bauma trade fair in 2007.

“It took us a year to make up our minds,” he laughs.

But then they went all the way and bought an EC05 with a large assortment of engcon attachments. The tiltrotator was installed on a new Yanmar VIO 55-5B, an excavator that works on both railways and roads.

“We quickly realised we’d never regret this investment.”

Growing success

Spinozzi says that engcon tiltrotators have been revolutionising and rationalising railway works in New South Wales in recent years.

“But now people are discovering the tiltrotator’s benefits in other areas too, and want tiltrotators on their excavators whatever jobs they’re doing.”

This means that more and more excavators are fitted with engcon tiltrotators – even ones that aren’t working for Rail Corp or ARTC.

“A tiltrotator opens up opportunities for new exciting jobs and increases precision and efficiency in all everyday situations,” says Spinozzi.

“We quickly realised we’d never regret this investment.”
